Dear Friend,
Each spring we look back on the previous year’s work to assess outcomes and set goals for the future. In 2022, 29 adults and 39 children received shelter at Bethany House, while 27 adults and 60 children received aftercare services through our Step↑Up program. Altogether, Bethany House provided 18,143 nights of safe shelter and housing to adult survivors and their children in 2022.

Now, we are looking forward to the second half of the year. Before we know it, families will be gathering back-to-school supplies.
You have been so generous over the last few years, we have been able to stock a closet with all the supplies students might need when they come into the shelter.
If you would like to contribute school supplies, keep an eye on the Amazon wish list. We will add items to the list as the closet begins to need replenishing.

Looking further ahead, please mark your calendars on October 2nd for the Unveiling of the 2023 Northwest Ohio Silent Witness Project.
This year, the event will return to the Franciscan Center at Lourdes University. We hope you plan to join us to remember the 42 Northwest Ohio women and girls who were murdered in acts of domestic violence over the last 10 years.
The Unveiling is a powerful ceremony and a reminder of the critical need for options for safe escape for victims of domestic violence. Your support helps us provide a means of escape and a path to long-term stability. Thank you.
